MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Sustaining Strong is founded and run by Erin Benator, NASM-CPT, SFG II, SFL, CFSC. Erin has been in the industry for 5+ years and specializes in kettlebell, barbell and bodyweight training. Erin is creative, caring, and free spirited, with a passion for all things metal.
She lived in Florence, Italy for a year studying museum practices and art history. This led her to move to Chicago, where she quickly realized she wanted to make a change. Ever since discovering her love for lifting at an old school bodybuilding gym in college, Erin continued to explore her strength. Shattering self-doubt in her training, taught Erin to apply the same methodology in everyday life. She encourages her students to do the same.
When she isn’t swinging kettlebells, Erin enjoys playing the drums, writing, cooking, rocking out to music and hanging with her pups Gabe and Bogie.
