Event Overview

Odds are, you probably have a LinkedIn profile.

But like most people, your profile might be collecting dust. Now’s the time for a spring cleaning! If you haven’t updated your profile since the last time you got a new job — this course is for you. Why? Because static LinkedIn profiles just aren’t going to get you what you want.

LinkedIn is more than just a place to put an OK-looking headshot of yourself and a list of your jobs. With more than 430 million users, LinkedIn gives you a chance for you to tell your story, on your terms. Not only is LinkedIn the perfect platform for your own brand, you can also use it as a tool to find your dream job, connect with your peers and showcase yourself as an expert in your field.

During this session, you’ll learn how to:

1. Write a summary of yourself that’s filled with keywords — and not jargon!
2. Develop a posting strategy that works for you.
3. Discover the best LinkedIn groups to join.
4. Write a LinkedIn blog post people will actually read.
5. Get connected to people you want to talk to.

Classes are kept small to allow for plenty of questions and discussions.
