Over the course of 6 weeks you will learn to incorporate lifestyle changes that will allow you to become YOU, VERSION 2.0! Studies have shown that the people who report the greatest happiness also report having a well balanced life inclusive of positive relationships, gratitude, and purposeful living. Many of us fall into the trap of “waiting to be happy” until we get that promotion or better job, find the right partner, lose the extra weight, etc. But why not start to get happy now?! In fact, happiness like any habit becomes easier and more natural the more we practice it. Start by joining us this fall on Monday nights from 7:00-8:30 or consider just joining us for Session 1, "Mindfulness & Meditation with Heather Shannon, LCPC" on 9/8/14.
Practice enjoying your life more exactly as it is. Learn to be more fully present and let go of unnecessary judgments. Circumstance only accounts for 10% of our happiness, while our approach to life accounts for 40%. This workshop will help you skillfully adapt that approach.

Heather is a the owner of Lotus Center, a holistic mental health practice in Noble Square, which is dedicated to helping clients align their mind-body-spirit with the highest version of themselves. She is licensed as a psychotherapist and certified as a health coach. Heather has been practicing meditation since 2005 and recently discovered her love of intuitive living.
