You take care of so much - isn't it time to make space to take care of you?
This 8-week group will meet weekly to work with the individuals in Chicago who do so much - whether it be for work, graduate school, families, friends, partners, or whatever creates that "very full" feeling in your life - isn't it time to create space for self-care?
After all, we best take care of others when we have made sure we've taken good care of ourselves. Perhaps you are thinking it might be selfish to spend time and money on wonderful you - but I assure you it's not a bad thing to take some moments to be selfish when our lives are full and we feel like we don't have a moment to breathe. It's like putting on our oxygen mask before helping others with theirs!
The group is led by Dr. Gina Bartucci, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who also implements the practices in her everyday life and is constantly reading more and more to support her own practice and the practice of group members.
The cost of the group is $190 for the 8-week program and scholarships are available if you demonstrate financial difficulty.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
With strong appreciation for mindfulness and diversity, Dr. Gina Bartucci comes to her practice with a very eclectic toolbox. After living shortly abroad in Australia, and volunteering in Ecuador, her work with clients focuses on the uniqueness of the whole person. She empowers others most when they are ready to make change in their lives.
After completing her doctorate in School Psychology at Loyola University Chicago, Gina was introduced to Mindfulness work and never turned back. She strongly incorporates evidence based practices including meditation and mindfulness with clients to guide them towards their goals. Integrity is a strong value of hers and thus incorporates a personal mindfulness practice into her own life.
Gina believes we all have potential to enjoy the simple things, but we frequently get caught up in the difficulty of past experiences and patterns. Bringing awareness to who we are, and what we are experiencing in the here and now while moving closer to our true nature is the most important journey in our lifetime. Supporting clients in any step on that journey is her joy and privilege.
