Event Overview

Learn just how easy it can be to properly tune up a motorcycle. Meet our master mechanics, take a tour of the shop and learn basic tool usage. Instructor Chris Casa is a well known Chicago motorcycle enthusiast, racer, builder as well as a motorcycle themed restaurateur.

Chris will demonstrate the process and take you step by step of tuning a motorcycle. Class includes adjusting the valves, setting the timing and adjusting the points correctly. Demonstration will include setting your timing and adjusting the points, testing the charging systems, how to properly gap your spark plugs and how to properly maintain a battery in order to get the most performance and life out of your battery.

In addition we will go through all the fluid changing processes and discuss how to change motor oils. We will show you how to lube and adjust your clutch & brake cables and discuss engine coolants, final drive and lube and adjust your chain. Save money and learn how easy it is to tune-up your own motorcycle. Feel free to make an appointment after the class and you can do it yourself in your own machine.
