Who is Betty Brown Harris?

Betty Harris creates change by teaching people to improve their lives, with through technology, entrepreneur and mentor-ship workshops. Her nick name “Jack of all trades” is a perfect title, but her passion and expertise are in teaching people to use technology to develop life skills.

She has been working in the technology field for over twenty years helping people use technology to do their jobs better. A co-worker commented that Betty often steps literally into the user’s shoes to solve a problem. The knowledge she has learned over the years, enabled her to developed training workshops that help people use technology to gain employment, start a business or just improve computer skills.

Professional Experience:

Run IT Help Desk serving over 150 users.
Manage day to day network administration in Windows environment.
Trained users to connect their mobile devices to the Wi-Fi networks.
Create training materials for office and web applications.
Submit recommendations on phone apps, and software utilities for users.
Wrote and published e-books on Kindle select.
Setup and ran security and survival online store.
Design and implemented job club for youth.
