Chicago Flag Pride on up-cycled material (16x20)

BYOB Painting Class with Nicole Lamb at L & A Healing Studio.

I will help you create a Chicago flag or mixed media on reclaimed wood from the city of Chicago.

This project can be creative as you want, mixed media, different sizes, and materials welcome!
We provide some materials, however feel free to bring anything you want, brushes, extra or different paint, different surfaces to paint on, and of course your favorite beverages!
Nicole Lamb leads students step-by-step through the creation of a painting as they sip beverages brought from home. These classes will help everyone unwind and enjoy a little creativity in a comfortable environment with friends!

We live in a fast paced world, sometimes we forget about "me time'. Take sometime to appreciate a little serenity.

Your body and mind will thank you!

Great Class! My husband and I both signed up and when we got there, we asked if we could combine our pieces to make one large flag. The instructor did a great job accommodating our request and the flag turned out great. She showed us great painting techniques and the store we did it in was really cool. Fun and relaxing evening. A great date night idea!

My only complaint is that the wood we painted on was about 1/10 the size of the wood in the advertised photo, which I would've had less of a problem paying $50 for. Instead, we painted on 2 very small flimsy pieces of wood. That being said, I did have a good time and the experience was both fun and relaxing.
