Event Overview
Did you buy a camera when you had a baby, but now find yourself just using your camera phone? Do you wish your camera would have come with some better tutorials? Have you experimented with your DSLR camera, but just can't quite master consistency in your photography?
Do you just want to take better photos of your kids???
Even if you loved photography in the past, photographing children is a whole different ballgame. They are constantly on the go, which makes blurry photos a risk and lighting more difficult. The best photos are the ones you look back on and totally remember *them* at that moment. In addition to teaching you the basics of manual mode and lighting, I will also give you tips & tricks on how to get a genuine smile from your kids. A genuinely happy kid makes a good photo great!
Join me for a morning all about taking better photos of your children. I have been photographing newborns and children for over 6 years and own a photography studio in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago.
We will be meeting at my studio and working through manual mode with hands on instruction time. You will leave with a basic understanding of the exposure triangle, lighting techniques, trouble shooting difficult areas, what settings work best for photographing kids specifically, how to position your camera to achieve the best photograph of a child, and more.
Once class is done, we can connect on Facebook or via email if you have any followup questions. That will give you time to go home and try things out for a bit.
Photographs of your children throughout their life is the best gift you can give to yourself and to them. I would love to help you master that skill!
