Event Overview
Ever wondered what an f-stop is? Ever wanted to have just a bit more creative control over your photos than you get from a point-and-shoot camera? Ever wanted to take your photographic creativity to the next level?
This class will teach the very basics of using your camera. In this hands-on, cooperative class you will learn:

• What is RAW format? Why should you shoot in RAW?
• What the heck is a histogram?
• And lots more.
This is a bootcamp with tons of information, so come ready to learn!

• Your camera’s user manual if you have it
• At least one lens (recommended: a 50mm f/1.8 fixed focal length lens)

This class was soooo informative and helpful! I really loved how Kat took the time to help us at whatever level we were at, and we even had time at the end to walk around and implement the new skills we learned in class!
