Event Overview

This class will teach a home buyer the basics of how to navigate the initial stages of home buying and how to decode the mortgage process.

The class will start with an educational presentation and then a question and answer portion. Students will leave the class with an understanding about different loan types, the basic factors that the mortgage industry uses to analyze their application, and the standard costs involved.

The class will be helpful for a first time home buyer or a home owner looking for a refresher course in order to prepare for their next purchase.

She has experience in mortgage lending on all sides of the process including taking loan applications, explaining mortgage rates to customers and educating buyers about the different loan products available and how they work. She has also spent years on the operational side working closely with underwriters on the approval process start to finish. Keely’s combination of experience in the industry means that she can answer questions in detail about any part of the loan process.
