Event Overview
Have you ever wanted to try to row like they do in the Olympics? Well, come on out to the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park, where experienced coaching staff from the Chicago Rowing Foundation will teach you all you need to know about rowing.
You'll start in the safety of the state-of-the-art indoor rowing tank, where a coach will teach you the fundamentals of rowing. She'll go over how to hold an oar, how to move with an oar, and how to take a stroke. No worries about getting wet- you'll be sitting next to the water, not in it. By the end of the class, you'll know the basics of how to row.
No experience is necessary, so come try something new!
