MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Rami Hatamleh opened Scuba Sensations in 2011. His evolving neighborhood dive shop is the natural culmination of a love of scuba that began with Rami’s high school training dives at pools and beaches in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. It’s fair to say that Rami now lives to breathe underwater.
Rami’s professional scuba career began in 2006 with a job cleaning the 38,000 square foot freshwater fish tanks at the Bass Pro Shop in Gurnee, IL. Soon after that he began working part time at a local dive shop north of Chicago. After a few months, he was managing the shop and assisting at the pool and quarry during scuba classes. He completed his instructor training a few years later, and is now PADI, NAUI, DAN and AHA certified.
