Event Overview
Are you ready to give up your glasses for good?
This 90 minute workshop will give you the tools necessary to take better care of your own eyes through simple practices sourced from the Bates Method, Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, and more.
Vision is a skill that can be developed and the eyes can easily be trained through relaxation and education. The practices you will learn can help you see more clearly near, far, and everywhere in between. Glasses, contacts, and surgeries only treat the symptoms of vision problems, whereas holistic eyecare addresses the underlying root causes of vision problems. Whether you currently have a vision problem that you wish to reverse or you have good vision and want to prevent vision problems in the future, this workshop will help bring more balance into your eyes and into your life.
Topics covered in the workshop include:
History and practices of the Bates Method of natural vision improvement
Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of vision
How to prevent & reverse nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and more
How to recognize and remove eyestrain 24/7
How to access the "auto-focus" function of the eyes
How to decrease light sensitivity
Yoga, meditation, and breathwork for the eyes

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Nathan Oxenfeld wore glasses and contacts for 15 years before learning there was a way to improve his eyesight naturally. Regularly practicing Yoga, Meditation, and the Bates Method helped him give up his glasses for good. He became a certified teacher of the Bates Method and began helping other people improve their vision naturally in Asheville, NC in 2013. In 2014 he wrote his first book titled, Give Up Your Glasses for Good: Holistic Eyecare for the 21st Century, and is now traveling the country with The Naked Eye Book Tour sharing his success story, raising awareness of holistic eyecare by giving talks and teaching workshops, and encouraging others to explore natural alternatives to glasses, contacts, and surgeries. Follow along by subscribing to The Naked Eye Podcast on iTunes, which is documenting the 3-month 15-city cross-country journey.
