Event Overview

Iterative prototyping is a key component of IDEO's human-centered design process. To prototype digital experiences — particularly those that we design for use across multiple devices — we use a variety of frameworks and techniques that help us quickly get our designs in front of users for testing.

In this class, students will learn how to use Twitter's Bootstrap framework, its plugins and some additional third party helper components to create a responsive website.

100% of the proceeds earned from this class will be donated to the care of small animals at Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society.

Minimum age

All ages welcome

Prerequisites

A basic understanding of HTML & CSS is required for this class. JavaScript & jQuery ka-nowledge is a huge bonus.

Great class. My eyes were opened to some very useful tools and techniques that I would not have discovered on my own.

Burton Rast is really knowledgeable about responsive design. I liked the clean direct approach to design without all the "fluff" content that you sometimes get with dev classes.
