Does anyone out there want to know how to setup a basic website? This class will teach you how to begin working with design and functionality on the Wordpress platform.
WordPress is one of the best platforms to build a blog, informational site, and even an e-commerce site. It is both admin and user friendly and once someone gets the hang of it, it opens up many doors into online web development!
Expect to learn the following:
1. How to search for the best WordPress theme depending on the design and functionality you desire.
2. How to upload your new WordPress theme to a development server (Will be using GoDaddy as an example)
3. The basics about Plugins and Widgets.
4. How to make basic changes to design.
5. Learn where things are located on the back-end admin panel.
You will leave this class knowing the basics of WordPress and how to change the design and some functionality on your site. If you want to learn how to build a website all on your own, this class if for you!
