Frank Martinelli is a teacher who has been involved in art throughout many years of his life. Much of his education was focused on drawing, painting, color theory, ceramics, life drawing, illustration, and graphic design. When he is not involved in art, Frank also has a musical side to him where he studied sound design and production at Columbia College. Presently, Frank has been busy with his art and digital media company called IMFM productions and is an art instructor at the Chicago Lights where he teaches students from 2nd-12th grade.
Really great environment. Cute space, and the snow left for a really great backdrop behind the big front window. The owner was very nice, and I never had to pour my own wine. The class did not seemed too rushed, and we were able to eat between breaks.

We had a great time at the painting class. The venue, Cafe Chien, was nice and a short walk from the Kimball brown line station. The teacher was helpful and made suggestions that helped this (very) amateur painter along in the process. It was a nice laid back atmosphere, we came away with something we made ourselves, and it was a nice activity to do on Valentines Day. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun activity to do.
