Event Overview
You'll start this class with a blank canvas and finish with a floral masterpiece. This is the class for you if you've always wanted to learn how to put the shapes you see onto a canvas, how to mix just the right shade of pink to match a flower and create a painting you could proudly display in your home. All students will create an original work of art based on a beautiful seasonal bouquet. Though everyone will finish with a unique work of art, you'll all learn conceptual basics such as color mixing, perspective, and foundational painting techniques.
Acrylic paint does not easily come out of clothing, so wear things you don’t mind staining, or bring a smock of some kind.

Prerequisites
No experience is necessary - just be prepared for an evening of creating and community.

All materials, wine, and some non-alcoholic beverage options will be included.

Claire is a passionate artist who loves teaching and helping others express themselves through art. Claire is a teacher at heart. She has a background in education and is a Speech-Language Pathologist in the field of pediatric home care. When she isn't doing speech therapy, she can be found creating art. Her current mainstays are ink drawings, acrylic paintings, leather working, and jewelry making.
