In this three-day class you will learn how to design and fabricate unique interior lighting. We will work with hot glass to create shades and lenses that bend and cast light in incredible ways. We’ll then be constructing, finishing, and wiring your lighting with help from the professionals of Color Cord Company. You will get a full crash course in how to manipulate glass and light, design and fabricate a functioning lighting fixture, and go home with an original design for your home! Beginners are welcome to join, but having some glassblowing experience will be very helpful.
The class will be led by Wes Valdez, with assistance by Flux Studio Instructors and the Color Cord Company staff.
