Amy Angelilli, The Adventure Project's Chief Adventure Officer, is an adventurer with more than 20 years of experience promoting socially responsible causes. She founded a non-profit agency in Philadelphia to promote shelter adoptions and then moved - with an RV full of pets - to Denver and opened a low cost spay/neuter clinic for stray cats. Besides combating pet overpopulation, her specialties also include writing, meaningful travel and improvisational theater.

In her spare time, she dabbled in online dating via numerous websites and was very bad at it until she revamped her profile by authentically speaking from the heart. Now, she helps her friends rewrite their online dating profiles using mindfulness as a core element. She has taught improvisation to at risk youth for close to ten years. She’s also created teambuilding workshops for adults in the workplace using improvisation techniques. Currently, she performs regularly at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse and Bovine Metropolis Theater in 3 Blind Dates and It’s All About Amy – improv theater experiences she created and produced. She’s also a regular contributor to www.elephantjournal.com - a website dedicated to mindful living. She has written open and honest pieces about topics such as online dating, improvisation and career searching to name a few.
