Event Overview
Imagine a refreshing sip of your favorite craft beer… glorious! Now imagine the pride you would feel knowing that you personally crafted and brewed it into existence.
In a 90 minute session, we will cover the fundamentals of crafting a beer (choosing style, grains, hops, yeast) and brewing a beer (boiling, chilling, fermenting, bottling). We’ll also discuss and demonstrate equipment, from the bare minimum for new brewers to some tips and gadgets for experienced brewers.
No equipment needed! But brewing kits and ingredient batches will be available for sale at the workshop.
Never brewed before? This class will provide basic knowledge to craft and brew delicious beers. Already a home brewer? This class will hone your skills and provide new ideas for crafting great beers.
The emphasis is on taking action and brewing. Yes, think about your beer and the process. But don’t over-think it... Just brew it!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Hi, I'm Brian, and I'm a chemical engineer (but don't fret, you don't need to be an engineer to brew).
Brewing is a fun and approachable hobby with a delicious and shareable end product: beer! In my 8 years of home brewing, I’ve whittled down the steps and equipment to the bare essentials. Sure, you can spend $1,000’s and months building an engineered masterpiece of brewing glory. Or for less than $100 and less than 8 hours of hands on time, you can get a class, a kit, and ingredients to brew wonderful craft beer. Hence, to share the joy of homebrewing with the widest audience, I’m advancing the philosophy of Just Brew It.
