Event Overview
Whether you are looking for a fun evening out with the girls, have been dying to try a new art, or simply want to have fun and donate to Hurricane Harvey relief, then this class is for you! Partnering with LORE tea and boutique, this event will be the perfect mix of shopping, cocktails, and calligraphy! 10% of all ticket sales will be donated to Samaritans Purse to help those that have experienced/ are experiencing devastating losses in Texas due to Hurricane Harvey. Join us in Lore's private workshop space to learn calligraphy, meet new friends, and enjoy some drinks and treats! In the class we will go over all of the basics: materials, angles, techniques, letterforms (upper and lowercase), etc. Workshops fill up quickly and we have limited the class size, so grab a friend and sign up!
The following materials will be provided and will be yours to take home:
- Straight pen
- Ink Well
- 2 Nibs
- Quaintrelle's instructional packet
- Tracing Paper
- Quaintrelle's Alphabet (upper and lowercase)
- Rhodia Practice Pad
- Cocktails and Snacks

Katie is the owner of Quaintrelle | Calligraphy and Design. She's a Colorado native (rare, I know) and lives in Denver alongside her husband Matt, their Great Pyrenees named Norman, and their cat named Kronk. Obsessed with pizza, dance parties, and making pretty things, she is sure to make learning a new skill fun!

Katie was great! She spent all her time making sure everyone was learning efficiently and happily. She provided us with a beautiful spread of snacks, and we left with all the materials we needed to practice Calligraphy.

My niece and I took the class together. She's a complete beginner and I've attempted calligraphy a few times. We both had a great time and both learned a lot! Highly recommend.
