Event Overview
Join in this re-popularized craft to learn a new hobby that is portable as well as relaxing and meditative. With a single hook and some yarn you can create clever household items or simple crocheted apparel in just hours.
This beginning crochet class if for all ages and genders who have no prior experience (or learned so long ago you have forgotten). Supplies will be provided, so just bring your willingness and sense of humor.
In this workshop you will learn the basic chain and single crochet stitches as well as learning about varieties of yarns and hooks to begin crocheting a simple dishcloth in class.

Sandy grew up in a crafty family and has been crocheting, knitting and sewing for many years and continues to learn new skills. She has taught at Colorado Free University as well as to individuals. Sandy loves to share her love of crafting to others and is a patient instructor. She also likes to make items and encourage others to do so as well for those in need.
