Event Overview

I am a freelance art instructor living and working in the south Denver area. I just started a series of classes called Make and Mingle, where I hope to introduce adults to different art forms each month. They occur on the 4th Saturday of each month*. Please let me know what art forms you'd be interested in seeing! I am passionate about sharing my love of art with the community.

On, September 22nd join us for cross-stitching your own sassy phrase, create a meditative mandala, or make something all your own. Bring your own idea or choose from a selection of simple patterns. Create a work of art to hang on the wall or turn your cross-stitching into a patch or pin with the materials provided.

What could be more fun than coming together at artSPARK to meet people and make stuff? That's what we call Make & Mingle!  This class is for adults of all skill levels to come and create in a social environment. We all have a creative side! So come make and mingle with us in this fun series. Each month we have a different focus so you can really explore different art forms and find your own interest! Choose your own adventure with the guidance of an instructor…and some libations. We provide beverages and guide you through a fun art-making project. Registration required!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Throughout my professional life, I have pursued two passions: creating art and teaching. As a graphic artist, I look forward to working in a variety of mediums and exploring new art forms. No matter if I’m behind the camera as the photographer, in front of the computer retouching, or creating something brand new with lines and shapes while graphic designing, my eye for detail and passion for perfection shines, no matter the task at hand.

Along my artistic path, my immense passion for teaching grew. From painting instructor to dance teacher and children’s art history expert, I strive to create an environment where my students can explore their unique abilities and develop creative interests.
