Event Overview
Love to color? Why not design your own pages? Learn the basics of composition by combining appealing patterns, simple shapes and even meaningful text. This all levels class requires no drawing experience yet is sure to challenge your creativity.
Step by step, I will lead you through the design of several background patterns. We will explore how subtle changes can transform your normal writing to frame worthy messages. Adding simple frames and repeated shapes will pull your design together. You will leave with ready to color pages and the tools to create an endless array of fresh, original designs.
All materials will be provided. Just come excited to learn and ready to play.

Christy Goodman is an artist and full-time teacher. Christy has been sharing her talents and love of art for more than 15 years teaching in schools, a museum and even a sculpture park. Her training includes degrees in education and art as well as time spent studying drawing and art history in Florence, Italy.
