Event Overview

Get your hands dirty while learning all about the Japanese gardening art form of Kokedama — a traditional bonsai form. Simply translated, Kokedama means “moss ball.” During this all inclusive workshop you’ll learn the step-by-step methods to create TWO of your own adorable fuzzy Kokedamas that can be hung as a string garden, or simply displayed in a dish. Learn all about the Japanese Wabi-Sabi principle of embracing imperfection as you sculpt these intriguing beauties! You will also learn best practices for care and upkeep to ensure your string garden will thrive.

This class is a ton of fun! We will get messy, so dress down.

All materials and instruction provided. I will also send you home with supplies to care for your new babies.
