Event Overview
In Japanese culture, many once believed that the crane lived for 1,000 years. Now, this beautiful and majestic creature represents long life, good fortune and peace.
Origami Ornaments will take this elegant Japanese symbol and fold it into a classic American holiday. This class will teach you how to fold origami cranes like a pro and how to style your creations into handmade décor. Choose from three unique designs. Create one, two or all three for your Christmas tree—or gift them to your family and friends.
By the end of the class, you will walk away with three handcrafted ornaments and origami instructions to create even more on your own.
No religious affiliation or previous paper folding experience required. You may want to do some hand exercises before class to avoid cramping (just kidding). If you’re afraid of paper cuts, this class isn’t for you (not kidding). All supplies for the class are included in your registration, so you don't need to bring a thing.

The teacher was sweet, patient and fun. Our whole group had a blast. I do wish the room had better lighting, but the instructor was willing to move the table to accommodate, which was nice. She was hands on, which was helpful to me when I was struggling with needles!
