Event Overview
A new craft with brunch! Come learn to knit, enjoy brunchy snacks and laugh a lot!
In this intro to knitting class we'll work on knitting drink cozies for your favorite beverages to wear. No previous skills required for this class. You'll learn to cast on, the knit stitch, and to bind off. With these skills you'll be able to work on bigger projects like scarves and blankets. You'll also be prepared for some of our more advanced classes like hats and fingerless mitts.
Supplies are available for purchase at class.
What to Bring
Bulky yarn and size 11 knitting needles.
Minimum age
All ages welcome
What's Provided
Handouts on knitting and first projects will be provided along with snacks and laughter!

Kelly has been knitting for about 20 years. After organizing a local knitting group that meets weekly at bars, she decided to open a yarn store with a focus on local yarns. In addition to teaching classes, she regularly hosts groups of knitters and crocheters in her store and still helps out with the local drinking...I mean stitching group!
