Event Overview

Learn the basics of photopolymer plate printing with Brian Wood of Dogs & Stars Letterpress. If you have ever seen a modern wedding invitation with a deep impression (deboss) and wondered how you get a 100 year old press to print so beautiful and crisp, then this is the class for you.

Students will learn the fundamentals of how to get digital designs to photopolymer plates and use existing plates from a greeting card line to print a variety of designs. Students will also have the unique opportunity to learn to print on a few different presses at the Book Arts League. No experience necessary.
