This 70's iconic craft is back in vogue and we love to teach you how to relax with some yarn and new knot-making skills! Macrame is fun and satisfying, and when this class is finished you will have a new skill, plus go home with a new home for a plant! Join us for a fun evening of weaving with your neighbors at Platt Park's best-kept secret - Hazel Art Bar!

I will provide the rings, macrame cord and beads needed to create the hanger.

Hello! I was a classroom teacher for almost 20 years, and taught Studio Arts for K-12 students. A couple of years ago I left the classroom and decided to continue to teach outside the walls of a school, and bring my talents to the adult population! Now, I teach in various venues throughout the city and continue my own work as an artist at home in my studio. I believe that we are ALL artists in our own right, and love to bring the creative experience to YOU!
