Event Overview

Please join me for a class to learn and practice some basic grounding and centering techniques through meditation.  Research suggests that meditation sharpens skills like attention, memory, and emotional intelligence. 

Enjoy the benefits of easy to learn and follow meditations such as:  

- Reduce stress It improves concentration
- It encourages a healthy lifestyle
- The practice increases self-awareness
- It increases happiness
- The practice benefits cardiovascular and immune health

Meditation is simple and can be done in simple ways so anyone can do it.  During the program we will review several different modalities of meditation. We will begin in the sanctuary for basic instruction and centering followed by mandala coloring, a nature walk meditation, journaling and end with a gathering around and walk through the Labyrinth.

Walking the Labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart and grounds the body ... Some find answers to questions long asked, some find healing, creativity, a sense of wholeness Wear comfortable clothing.

Bring a water bottle and a mat, pillow or blanket for meditation and a journal. You are welcome to pack a lunch and stay after the class to enjoy the grounds
