Origami Intro Class
9 Have Dabbled
Arts & DIY
Learn the ancient Eastern art of Origami, paper folding! It's not nearly as hard as you might think, and can actually be a great way to meet new people, focus your mind and attention, or just amaze your friends with new found skills.
I have been doing origami for 11 years, and have taught classes on it to both adults and children. I've developed several of my own unique models, and would love to teach you how do it, and share my passion for the art.
I can teach you a new model, how to fold, and help you create something beautiful and unique out of a piece of paper.
NO EXPERIENCE needed. Paper will be provided, so you don't need to bring anything either.

I have been practicing Origami for 11 years, since a middle school teacher inspired me to try some basic models. My goal is to be that inspiration for other people (children or adults) and to help introduce them to the surprising joys of paper folding.
I have created several of my own unique designs, as well as mastering dozens of different models. I also have 2 years of teaching experience, during which I taught several special classes on Origami.
Enjoyed this class! We made a few origami, learning the different folds. Martin helps you make corrections to a fold and the pace is perfect for a beginner. Thanks, it was fun!

I had such a good time and actually made some animals that looked like what they were supposed to. Martin answered all my silly questions and was great at explaining the folds and why you fold the way you do. I am actually going back with a friend and his two kids so that the kids can learn. My 2 year old isn't old enough, but I hope to pass this on to him.

Origami is my new obsession! Martin was very patient with us. He allowed us to bring numerous pieces of his origami art home with us. Would absolutely recommend to a friend!
