Event Overview
Whether you are looking to shoot your own films, make commercials, or just gain expertise as a hobbyist, we'll bring your camera work to the next level. We're not necessarily fans of shooting on iPhones, but if that's all you have we'll teach you how to use it. No matter what camera you are using or what content you are shooting, you'll leave our class with the ability to make your images more beautiful.
The styles in which you can use a video camera are essentially endless, and we want to help you go in whatever direction you'd like with video. So, the way this class will work is pretty open. Show up with some questions, a camera if you own one (we'll provide cameras to those who don't own one), the manual for your camera (or know the model so that we can look it up online), and we'll tailor the class to your needs. Seeing as this is up to a five person class and we have only two instructors, however, we will also be covering a few basics: Exposure, focus, shutter speed, and basic lighting. Even if you're at an intermediate level, you'd be surprised at the things you can learn about exposure and shutter speed. You'll also get the opportunity to work with our Hollywood caliber RED cameras. This class will be great for anyone with very basic knowledge of a camera to intermediate video skills.
