Join us for a pickling and preservation investigation with the folks from Lyons startup, the Fermenstation!
In this course, Dave will bring his love and knowledge of pickling to host a veggie pickling party. Discover how simple it is to produce delicious, nutritious, living food in the comfort of your own kitchen. Sample some of Fermenstation's pickled pepper hot sauce and (bonus!) some of their other fermented food and beverage offerings. Learn useful tips on how to grow your own vegetables year round, indoors and out, and the best ways to preserve them. This 2 hour class will cover the science and health benefits of fermented foods and beverages (including but not limited to pickling).
Come on out for some hands-on training and leave with your own soon-to-be-fizzy pickling veggies!

Dave, co-owner of the Fermenstation, has been pickling for a few years and recently discovered his love for the hot but flavorful habanero chili pepper. He is constantly experimenting with peppers at home - growing, pickling, and eating them are among his favorite things to do! He'd love to share some of his pepper knowledge with you.
