Want to make a perfect portrait anywhere, anytime, in any light with any (usually unwilling!) subject?
This is the first and only workshop you will ever need!
Learn how to analyze a face's geometry, pose the subject comfortably and light your portrait for incredible results in seconds.
In this very rare public workshop, award-winning photographer, Andrew Clark, shares his 30+ years of experience making portraits of the rich and famous all over the world.
Andrew's high-energy, hands-on workshop, in his state-of-the-art daylight studio in Washington Park, will teach you how to identify great light and use naturally-occuring reflectors/diffusers quickly and simply, without the need for complicated or expensive equipment.
Whether you use an iPhone or a professional camera, you are guaranteed to make better pictures with Andrew's unique techniques; you will have a ton of fun learning his cool and simple tricks for superb pictures.
Andrew's workshop helps beginners and veterans alike, so please feel free to bring your pro gear or no gear! Andrew has a pair of Canon 1Dx2 cameras to lend for the evening if you need one.
Participants will leave with a new professional profile picture made by Andrew (usually $695), plus many of your own great portraits from the workshop!
Only $75 for the evening (6:00-9:00PM), including light refreshments!

Andrew's class was excellent! I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in improving their portrait photography skills. The class was a nice mix of lecture and hands on. In the class I attended, there was a wide mix of skill levels and camera gear but Andrew made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We all walked away with more confidence and some new skills.

The methods that he teaches can take your photos to the next level! He really changed the way I take portraits. Can't emphasize enough how much I learned in this class, and we had a fun time in the process :) Would highly recommend!

This is a great class for anyone interested in learning more about portrait photography! Andrew is a great teacher and gave us great feedback as we were learning the process. I am pretty familiar with cameras and photography and I still learned a great deal from Andrew. My only recommendation for people taking the course is to read your camera manuals before the class. It will help you get right to learning on portraits instead of learning your camera functions.

This class was AMAZING!! I am a beginner and he took the time to explain everything in detail. I walked out leaning so much but also had a ton of fun! Andrew is fantastic and I would love to take more classes from him.

I highly recommend this workshop to both beginning and experienced photographers. Andrew tailors the content to the skill level and goals of each participant, makes it highly interactive, and leaves you with the capability to shoot better portraits than you've ever shot before. This class was a portrait workshop, so we learned how to read faces, create/use the best light, and pose people in order to capture their best angle. The class ranged from absolute novices (like me) to professional photographers who wanted to hone their skills in portraiture. Andrew and his assistant are absolute professionals and created a good balance in their teaching approach - a good bit each of instruction, exemplars and application. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and there was ample opportunity to ask questions and receive one-on-one help and feedback.
