Event Overview

Don't have time or money to make it to the gym? Come to this class to learn effective workouts that can be done anywhere with no special equipment necessary!

This class is for all genders and abilities. Exercises will be demonstrated and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, do the movements, and receive feedback. The class is limited to five people to ensure personal attention for all.

What's Provided

Handouts will be provided for note taking and you'll go home with a complimentary prop to use during your home/office/hotel/park workouts.

Shannon and her husband, Chris, are the proud owners of Pilates Vita of Denver. After a rewarding career with the Department of the Air Force and the pleasure of living all over the world, she is thrilled to lay down roots in the magnificent mile high city.

A childhood love of dance and sports grew into a lifelong passion for fitness, wellness, and heart-pumping adventures. Last year Shannon completed a mountain biking expedition from Washington D.C. to Pittsburg, PA. It was 340 self-support miles on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and Great Allegheny Passage. A couple weeks later she completed her first Century, a 100 mile road cycling event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. However, Shannon's proudest athletic achievement was completing her first marathon along side Chris on a beautifully sunny day on New Year’s Eve 2013. In addition to biking and running she loves soccer, ballet, snow shoeing, group fitness classes, and experimenting in the kitchen with healthy and nutritious foods.
