Event Overview
Do you have a sewing machine sitting at home in the closet? Are you frustrated because you don’t actually know how to use it?
If so, this class is for you! Dust off that old Singer and bring it on in.
This is a beginners workshop, where you will learn everything from threading your machine, winding that thing called a bobbin, hemming your pants and even making a buttonhole! We will walk you through all of the ins and outs of your machine and how to troubleshoot problems. You will leave with the confidence to make that DIY project you found on Pinterest! Note that this class is also a prerequisite to Sewing 102.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
I have been sewing for the past 20 years and been teaching sewing for 7 years. Before moving to Denver 4 years ago, I lived in New York City and worked in the fashion industry. In college, I worked for the University of Nebraska's theater costume department as a seamstress. I currently teach private lessons and group classes throughout Denver to students ranging in ages from 8-68. I love sharing my passion with others and hope to see you in one of my classes soon!
