Event Overview
This holiday season, compliment your handmade or unique gifts with custom cards, while relaxing and learning some new skills, no matter what your experience level. Internationally-exhibited artist Kelley Schei will start the class with a few basic and essential watercolor skills including basic design and color theory that will give you the confidence to let your own style emerge. After a little practice, you’ll be ready to make a set of 4 handpainted holiday note cards or a set of gift tags- we’ll get creative!
All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring any source material, whether a personal photo or something from Pinterest that caught your eye.
Early registration is encouraged- space is limited to 10 people and classes will fill!
Light holiday snacks will be provided, but please feel free to BYOB

What's Provided
Paints, paper, brushes, books for inspiration.

Kelley Schei is an award-winning, internationally exhibited painter who recently completed residencies in Vermont, Italy and Iceland. She has a MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and works from her Denver-based studio. She has taught at museums and universities, but believes that the venue doesn't matter and that anyone can learn to paint in a meaningful and aesthetically interesting way.
