Event Overview
Build a blanket ladder with power tools like the miter saw and nail gun. Choose your own reclaimed wood to build a custom layout. Consider this build for your bathroom towels, living room blankets or bedroom throws. You can opt to build a ladder with parallel sides like Erika did or angle them for a modern look like Heather did. Learn how to safely operate a nail gun and miter saw to build your unique piece.
Safety instructions and hands-on guidance provided. We will be learning in a garage space; reflecting the at-home DIY experience. Tools are rented through the Denver Tool Library - our favorite local non-profit.
Considering a finish? Come back to our finishing workshop for $25 to learn painting techniques and 'shou sugi ban' wood burning.

This class, and especially the teacher Sineah, was great! I learned to use equipment that I was not familiar with. Sineah was very patient and also fun. She taught me how to build the blanket ladder myself, not just describing it. I look forward to taking another class with her, and highly recommend that anyone take this class. It was very satisfying to come home with a finished piece of work that I could use right away!
