MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Deniera is no stranger to change or the DIY world. She has lived and worked in many states and her 25+ years in the Corporate environment gave her the foundation to help launch her own businesses. In 2004 she launched a DIY Home Décor business which enjoyed moderate success with appearances on ABC Ch. 7 & Fox 32 and CLTV. She was also running her Bath & Body line when a fellow vendor suggested a partnership that would allow them to sell their products in a boutique environment. This piqued her interest as it would help other vendors who needed a "storefront presence" for their products as well. She soon realized that retail was not "her thing" as it did not allow time for creativity... which she loved...hence, it was time to move on. Enter Etsy, the online handmade marketplace which allows her the opportunity to be creative and sell her designs. She currently runs 3 Etsy stores and enjoys the opportunity to be creative and sell her products.
Circle back to today and Social Media is allowing her to showcase her products again as she now enters a new realm of DIYers. Her new venture, 'Sip & DIY' is a new concept that allows her to travel to different venues to offer various DIY classes. With the advent of the Sip and Paint parties, she decided that her many creative DIY projects could be offered to those seeking Sip and DIY events in addition to canvas painting. “There are so many different 1-3 hour DIY projects that can yield big results that I couldn't resist throwing my hat back into the DIY world. “Handmade feel with a Retail Appeal” is her motto.
