Would you like to know more about Microsoft Excel? If so, what would you like to know?
I conducted that survey. 100% of the respondents wanted to know more. By far, the most interest was: “I would just like to know what Excel can do.”
So, here it is! An interactive 2-hr Live Action demonstration of Excel and practical uses. This course will focus on the beginner and intermediate levels so that everything shown will be within the reach of those who attend.
We’ll delve into a few lesser known functions of Excel, and take a brief glimpse into Advanced features. There will be time for Q&A and some brainstorming with the class on how YOU might use Excel in your life and business.
Uses include anything that relies on data to make the right decisions: Analyzing employee performance, awarding Girl Scout merit badges, calculating commission payments, project management, cleaning contact lists, retrieving stock information from the internet …
Class will demo Beginner to Intermediate elements of Excel:

Oz was great and gave good explanations. It was not my favorite venue for this type of course as it was quite dark and the large screen was difficult to read. Also, I was not as advanced as everyone else in the class so had to struggle to keep up. This, of course, was not the fault of the instructor.

Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to learn more about Excel. Great pace and content. Oz took the time to explain things and answer all questions. Will definitely be taking another class.

Oz offered a great basic course on Excel, making the environment comfortable to ask simple questions. I appreciated his patience and enjoyed his story behind his reason for teaching these classes and can see his passion. Our class became sort of a discussion which made it more interesting and less of a lecture, which for myself is a better learning environment. For $20, this 2 hrs was totally worth it to sit in a room and learn a bunch of little excel tricks.

Oz does a great job of making Excel not only relevant but fun. He teaches the class in a way that's surprising, democratic, and not fear-inducing. I walked away feeling I could finally slay the Excel beast!

The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided good examples of ways to use Excel in daily life. He also provided a structure to help participants think about how they may want to figure out formulas and get to the date they need.
