FOR THE FIRST TIME! This will be a hands-on course limited to 10-12 people.

This workshop will start a project from scratch. You will access my 15 years of experience and learn Excel by doing Excel.

We will work together to build a form that calculates the cost of a recipe while pulling data from another worksheet. We'll lock everything down to protect the formulas and data inputs.

Prerequisites

Laptop with Excel 2007, 2010 or 2013; or Excel for Mac 2011 (No Excel 2003)
Familiarity with building basic Excel formulas.
=(C3*(A3-J3))+E3
If that makes sense to you, all shall be fine.

Before the class, everyone will be emailed a spreadsheet with the source data. Please bring that with you on your laptop.

The class was exactly as described. We learned the rationale for the steps of the project, how and when to use a number of important functions and, importantly, we got to practice these new skills a few times.
