Event Overview
Join us on June 5th from 11 am - 1 pm for a fun Sunday of knot-tying! You’ll be provided everything you need to make and leave with a completed Macramé Hanging Bamboo Dish. Which can be used as a Fruit/Produce Basket in the Kitchen or a classic Plant Hanger.
“Do I need experience to come?” and the answer is No! You’re there to learn the art. Your instructor, Christine, will guide you from start to finish and is happy to answer questions and offer her insight.
These workshops are designed to help develop a new craft, meet new friends, enjoy some laughs, and walk away with a beautiful work of art created by you, for your home.
“What is Macramé?”
Macrame - a form of textile-making using knotting, as opposed to knitting or weaving - is super trendy right now. Whether it’s used for wall hangings, plant hangers, or a number of other projects, macrame can add such great texture to any wall or corner of the home. It turns out; it’s a pretty fun way to spend your free time. Interested in learning more?

“I took Christine’s macramé class last summer in Rhode Island. This class was given on the beach at Field of Artisans market. How lucky was I to take a macramé class on the beach? Christine is AMAZING! This class was so relaxing, informative, & fun. Christine wants to make sure you have an incredible time. She is supportive, takes her time to make sure you understand what you are doing and helps you bring your uniqueness to your work. This experience was like a mini vacation, a relaxing spa day. Not only does she teach the class but sends info, links on how to continue what you’ve learned and where to buy supplies ... and you can contact her with any questions. So guess what everyone in my world is getting for Christmas. I just wish I could take more of her classes!” - Kate C., South Kingstown, R.I.
