Event Overview
What a better way to play than with a ball of clay in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Take a "Claycation" with us! We begin with introductions and basic wheel demonstration by one of our instructors: Alex, Candace, Jasmine, Jason, Leslie, Sasi or Tony. You will learn the basic steps of throwing a cylinder on the potter's wheel, then each participant gets up to four 1-pound balls of clay to try their hand at the potter's wheel. You can keep your new works of art, just choose a glaze color and we will dry and trim your work, fire it, glaze it and re-fire it. When it's ready, Steve will notify you it is ready for pick-up.

Amazing and very fun class with SMAart Gallery & Studio. Alex was patient and very helpful getting everyone started. Pottery on a wheel is harder than it looks but this class gave me confidence and made me want to learn and practice more.
