Event Overview

I'll be teaching a free BoxingYoga™ class for my final assessment and need students to fill my class!

What is BoxingYoga™ you ask? It's a powerful yoga-based training originally designed in the UK for boxers, and is quickly gaining popularity in the US. Yoga postures combined with traditional boxing movements make up this flowing class, moving through rounds of strength, stamina, balance and stretch. This is a non-contact class so all you need is a mat, or you can rent one from the studio. If you like to box, practice yoga, or are just ready for a new challenge, come check it out - all are welcome!

This class will be recorded in order to submit for assessment (don’t worry, it won’t be posted anywhere public)

***Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get checked-in***

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I began my yoga journey more than 10 years ago and earned my 200-RYT certification from Yoga Garden San Francisco in 2015. I have focused my asana practice and study on alignment-based vinyasa and breath work, and yoga has helped me find balance, peace, and the opportunity to slow down in this busy city I call home.

In my classes, you can anticipate a challenging but balanced experience with an intentional, flowing sequence that focuses on connecting breath to movement from warm-up through savasana. We will work to develop strength, flexibility, balance and mindfulness, 1-class at a time. All levels are welcome and options will be offered to accommodate each unique body. I look forward to continuing to grow my practice by sharing it with you and learning from the students I teach. See you on the mat!
