Event Overview

In this class I will empower you with a basic understanding of practical automotive maintenance. Understanding how to check your vehicle's fluids and change a flat tire will give you more confidence as a driver. Have you ever gotten a flat without cell service to call for help? I sure have. I will not only show you how to perform this basic maintenance, but I will show you how on your own vehicle!

In this class you will learn how to:

-Locate your car jack and other tools
-Jack up your car safely
-Remove your wheels lug nuts
-Find and remove your spare tire
-Put on your spare tire
-Check your oil
-Check your transmission fluid
-Check your brake fluid
-Check your coolant
-Examine your belts and hoses

What to Bring

Please bring the vehicle you would like to learn on.

Ice cold Schlafly Beer for students over the age of 21 with a valid id.

Jemal is the BEST teacher of ANYTHING. I would've never signed up for this if not for him an now I can totally change my tire etc. (or call AAA; but don't tell him that). Super filled with knowledge and fun - can't beat that!
