Event Overview

Here comes a brilliant opportunity for you to figure out what all those weird named packages are: Superfoods!

- What’s in them?
- What are they good for?
- How do they taste?
- How can I use them to my best benefit and greatest taste?

Have you ever wondered how to use Camu, Yacon, Macqui, Acai, Maca, Sancha Inchi, Chia, Goji berries, Cat Claw, Stevia, Lucuma, Turmeric, Nopal, Noni, Cacao, Mangosteen, Mesquite, Beepollen, Yum, Spirulina, Hemp, Coconut oil, Barberries, Chlorella, Golden Berries, Mulberries, CMD, Pomegranate to name a few???

The proprietors of SEEDZ Cafe will lead this class to talk about the superfoods presented to you in this class and will also answer your questions about them. You will also be introduced to some delicious ways of using the featured products in your daily nutritional routine and meals. Without giving too much away, Dabble & SEEDZ can already promise you a few great tasting smoothie and salad ideas.

All of this for an investment of $25. Due to the nature of this class and the amount of samples we will be giving out the space is limited to 10 students only.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

We are Monty and Cara. We both have backgrounds in health and wellness as well as a passion for nutrition. Schloss worked at Whole Foods Market as a buyer in the “Whole Body” department specializing in supplements, herbs and superfoods.

Seedz Cafe gets its name from Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree as well as the inclusion of sprouted seeds and more in our offerings. Our menu features fresh juice blends, smoothies and vegan-friendly dishes such as “Rawvioli,” organic sliced beets marinated and filled with macadamia and pine nut pesto. Stop in with friends and gather here.

At Seedz, it is our philosophy that we connect to those around us better when we disconnect from distracting electronics. If you are interested in getting away from your mobile gadget and holding space for a friend and/or loved one, please join us anytime at Seedz Cafe.

The class on Superfoods 101 was excellent. Not only was the instructor knowledgeable, she had prepared all types of scrumptious recipes which included these foods for us to sample.
In addition, we received take home materials explaining the benefits of these foods, along with the recipes we sampled. SEEDZ cafe was an excellent venue and just the right size for easy conversation with time to ask lots of questions and contribute information. My husband enjoyed it, got a lot from it, and look forward to returning. Highly Recommend!
