Event Overview

You asked for it, and here it is! Level 2 Watercolor Painting with Andrea Standby.

Don't be afraid, it's easier than you might think! If you had fun last time and are looking to learn a little more, this class dives deep into the more traditional, skill-oriented side of the craft. You will learn how to mix colors, find specificity through form, and use highlight and shadow to your advantage when creating.

We will be painting coral reef in the ink-outlining fashion we learned in NYTWC, paired with a teaditional scenic landscape of a beautiful sandy beach of your creation. Come prepared to dive a little deeper into this art form with me!

What to Bring

A can-do attitude and maybe some wine for the group!

Prerequisites

Taking Not Your Typical Watercolor Class will help you immensely on this project, but is not required.

What You Can Expect From This Experience

• One 8x10" original painting on cold-pressed watercolor paper
• A new challenge to play with as you explore your own creativity outside of class
• The chance to check out a unique local gallery full of talented artists, including SOHA's owner, Julie Malone!
