Had a great workshop this weekend. The material was well pace, and the learning environment pleasant, sunny, and welcoming. Alicia was great- walked everyone through all of the steps patiently and gave tips and suggestions that new and experienced students can learn from.

Alicia is an amazing teacher. I've taken several of her classes and have enjoyed them immensely because of her preparation and expertise, straight-forward teaching style, and her great sense of humor and relaxed approach. I highly recommend taking any of her classes!

Really fun class in a nice space. Alicia is really knowledgeable about making books and I learned a lot. I will definitely look for other classes with her in the future - highly recommended.

A great day spent in Alicia's classroom folding papers into fine little books! Small classroom with only a handful of talented students makes for easy quick learning, and an interesting day. Having some experience in bookmaking I especially appreciate the small library of models of books I have accumulated as reference thanks to Alicia's classes. In addition, she has taught me many little tricks and shortcuts, and ways to do things without math and cumbersome measuring!! Patient, friendly and skillful, Alicia is a good mentor to know. Classes well worth taking!

I recently took this workshop, not knowing what to expect. I had no previous experience with book arts but was intrigued by the pictures on the course site. Alicia's class was so much fun! She kept enrollment to a small group which allowed all of us plenty of time to create 5 beautiful folded pieces. I learned so much from her and from the other creative people in the group. My interest is peaked and I cannot wait to continue learning more from Alicia and others in the book arts world. Do yourself a favor and register for a class. It is a great outlet for anyone at any level of experience.

Class with Alicia was great. She's very knowledgable about the world of artist books. She taught us 5 structures, talked to us about Abecedarian Gallery, other book artists, and much more. It was a great class all around.

I was so engrossed with the class that time flew by! In between teaching us how to bind the books, Alicia shared with us her wealth of knowledge regarding Denver's Art Scene and various facets of book binding. Looking forward to taking many more classes with her! :)
