Bill Epperly, PhD
Bill Epperly, PhD, is a biochemist and mystic. He has studied the mystical teachings and practices of east and west, including Korean Zen and Christian Contemplation, along with many contemporary approaches to awakening. He has been a student of Ken Wilber’s integral theory since he first heard of it in 1989, while driving to Toronto for a Zen Buddhist retreat. He is a spiritual mentor and teaches integral spirituality and mindfulness meditation throughout the greater Chicago area. Bill is an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University, where he teaches mindfulness for pastoral counselors. He is on the Board of Chicago Area Spiritual Directors and on the Circle of Service for Contemplative Outreach Chicago. His website is integralawakenings.com.
