Urania NYC is dedicated to the teaching and preservation of the divinatory arts- Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot as well as unlocking creativity for the practical world. I seek to teach these subjects, not with an overbearing mysticism, but a practical approach for the modern practitioner. We strive to take the superstitious qualities out of these practices and ground them with the help of technology and resources that assist in the development of the human mind and soul.
It is very easy to read a horoscope in the daily paper and get a general description. We strive to teach you to decipher specific information based on your personal birth information. It is my hope that you will learn to use these ancient techniques along with modern technology to build a path of enlightenment that serves your specific needs. While we are in awe of the accuracy and truth of the divinatory arts, we are not bound by the dogma of the past. The focus is on the unfolding of your personal journey and building a system of research and practice that will go much deeper and have a more profound effect on your well-being and life’s path. Urania NYC was founded in 1985 by CC Rosario. She has 32 years experience in the Divinatory Arts as a researcher, Astrologer, Numerologist, Tarot practitioner, and historian of International Indigenous Tribal Shamanic Practices. She has studied Celtic, Kemetic, African, and Asian shamanic history and practices, and has apprenticed for many scholars on the subject. She has been trained and mentored in Dream Interpretation, Meditation, Art Therapy, Holistic and preventative natural medicine and herbalism. Her approach is the sum of a very simple equation:

She seeks to educate and illuminate people to the cycles of life and the heavens, with a special emphasis on the effect the physical body and the workings of the mind. Her goal is not to create a superstitious mystery for her clients. SHE IS NOT A PSYCHIC. Rather, she is a researcher and teacher of ancient principals that can be grounded in the modern day life of everyone. Her innovative classes use a wealth of information sitting out there waiting to be utilized. Instead of superstition and vague pseudo-psychic impressions, she focuses on probability, patterns, tendencies to be recognized and healed, and teaching the practitioner to read the signs for themselves and develop their own resources so the need for a psychic to provide answers is not needed or sought.
